Norma Barksdale is a writer from Oxford, Mississippi. She worked for several years as an editor in New York City before receiving her MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Montana. Her fiction has been published in The Ekphrastic Review. She lives in Montana and is working on Ornament and Crime, a novel about art history, and Ladies of Our Imagination, a short story collection about dream states, memory, and the limits to which one person can know another.
